Essential Oil Hacks
#1 – Use lemon essential oil to take off sticky residue.
Simply rub a bit of lemon essential oil on any residue from a sticker or label and watch it melt away. So easy!
#2 – Use tea tree essential oil for sour laundry
None of us has ever rewashed the same load of laundry over and over again… oh wait, is that just me? If your laundry smells a bit sour, try adding a few drops of tea tree to your wash on the next go around. You can also use the method pictured above for more stubborn smells.
#3 – Add lavender essential oil to your mascara
Just adding a drop or 2 of lavender EO to your mascara will have your lashes looking amazing in no time.
#4 – 2-3 drops of essential oil inside of your toilet paper roll
Just adding 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil to the inside of your toilet paper roll (on the cardboard itself) will make things smell amazing in an otherwise stinky place. Lemongrass is a favorite one to try.
#5 – add empty bottles to a jar of epsom salts
Perfect for a soothing bath!
#6 – add toothpicks to empty jars
You might think the jars are empty, but there is usually a trace amount of oil left in the jar. Just pop the top off, add some toothpicks and voila!
#7 – using essential oils in playdough
Found at The Vintage Modern Wife
The best part about the playdough is that you can customize with oils to support your kids in whatever they might be going through at the time.
#8 – use personal inhalers
Found at One Essential Community
You can have your own personal inhaler to take with you to support any of your body systems!
